I saw this on the news before reading your blog and I heard she didn't win. She didn't even stop talking after she was buzzed for going over the time limit. Sad to say but there are more like her out there.
I just watched it again -- as difficult as it was to do so. Jay Leno does a segment on his show called "Jaywalking" where he stops people on the street and asks them fairly simple questions. And these people ( some who are college grads) display their ignorance proudly.
