Nooo.. the blog's not dead yet

Although it's pretty close. Work has just been way to busy. Weekends seem constantly busy with events as well. I finally have a weekend to myself to relaz and do nothing and recharge. Even Kenn is away snowboarding. Today was all about sleep and yoga and tv and a little cleaning. Tomorrow is all about sleep and the gym and more tv. :)

Vegas a few weeks ago was so great. It's such an adult playground of over indulgence. It's a real getaway from the real world. It was a lot of fun. Eating and drinking and hanging out. A little gambling- I'm not really much of a gambler but playd Pai Gow Poker which is fun and mindless and hours of fun. I even got a straight flush and won around $375 which of course was easily spent.

My good friend Jenn and her husband just moved to San Francisco today :( Kenn and I will go visit them in April though so excited for that.

Way too busy

I have no time to blog anymore, no time for anything really. I cannot believe how much of my workdays are taken up with meetings. It's ridiculous and any second I get is used trying to answer the emails that have accumulated. I manage people now also which is a whole other story. I never really realized how much work it is. You deal with people problems all day long every day. Part of me enjoys i and part of me doesn't. I find it challenging but sometimes I just don't want to deal.

Evenings and weekends are spent relaxing where possible. Kenn and I finally have the apt pretty in shape. We are waiting for our couch to be delivered in another month or so. We also want a flat screen tv and then should be all set. We've gotten a lot of stuff of our registry which is a nice way to complete a home.

I've been trying to go to the gym when I can. Tried a yoga place and also been trying out a personal trainer. Getting back into shape.

Just bought tix to vegas today for president's day weekend. Looking forward to that.

Happy New Year

It's more than a week into the new year now. Time flies and I've just been so busy I can't even seem to find a minute to blog anymore. How sad. It's been crazy at work. Catching up on things and getting involved in a lot of new things, and managing a team now. At home we have been trying to get settled and just bought some new furniture last weekend. A new bed frame, a tempurpedic mattress and a new couch.

For New Year's we were in VT. Went to Stratton, rented a house with a bunhc of friends, that was fun.
